The Inspiration
My art gives voice to what I cannot express in words.
Through pastels and acrylics, I seek to capture light, vibrance of color, and the quiet peace I have longed to rediscover in my own life. They remind me that beauty can still exist, even after life has left us feeling broken.
Charcoal finds me in a different place. It is the medium I return to when color feels distant—when hope itself seems difficult to see. Within its shadows, I search for light, discovering beauty, calm, and quiet strength hidden within imperfect darkness.
I once came across a quote whose source I no longer remember, but its message has stayed with me and reflects the heart of what I hope my work conveys:
“Even when life drives you to the darkest depths, you can always choose to turn your face toward the light.”
Whether working in vibrant color or quiet monochrome, my hope is that each piece offers a moment of stillness—a reminder that even in our darkest seasons, light is never truly absent.
